THREE PROGRAMS: BASIC TRAINING, REFRESHER, & ADULT EDUCATION

The EV Training Program teaches the history and theology of the ministry and the use of home communion kits as well as basic pastoral care skills. This program is full of practical aids for home, hospital, and nursing-home visits and includes everything needed to train, commission and certify new EVs.

The EV Refresher Program is for re-energizing current EV's. An appropriate follow up to diocesan training programs, the program's eight sessions could be conducted monthly to build and support a Eucharistic Ministry team.

The EV Adult Education Program focuses on the history and theology more than on the skills related to this ministry. It is ideal for congregations introducing or expanding this ministry.
