ADAM & EVE

In the middle of the garden was a tree…

..and the beautiful garden was gone…
ABRAHAM

Three angels came to visit Abraham and said…

And they named him Isaac, which means "laughter"
EXODUS

…and she put him in a basket and floated it on the river…

…and the people passed through the sea on dry land.

Moses struck the rock with his staff…

…and Moses went up the mountain…

Jushua led the people into the Land of Promise.
Jerusalem

They broke down the walls of Jerusalem and set fire…to the whole city

And the Lord said to me "Can these bones live?"
Jesus and the Teachers

There he was, sitting with the teachers….
Jesus' Baptism

John said, "Here he is! This is the man God has chosen…"
Ministry and Disciples

Jesus said to them, "Don't be afraid. From now on, you will catch people."
Loaves & Fishes
And there was enough and more than enough for them all.
Passion and Resurrection

And there Jesus took the bread and blessed and broke it

And in the morning they hung him on a cross
But on the morning of the third day, just as the sun was coming up…..
The Kingdom of God

But he did not leave them all alone - he sent his Spirit to live in their hearts

And so we have the Church

We come into the Church by being baptized

But every one of us, one day, will die.

The King will invite everyone, rich and poor, to the marriage feast of his Son, and everyone will live happily ever after.
AMEN. And that's our story.
