This cycle is about learning to listen and growing up. Activities include: a service unit and activities about responding to being called and learning about our names. It includes:
Investigating the roles of priests and pastors
Looking at what we grow out of and what we grow into
Comparing Samuel's cal to Simba's call and our call
Understanding how important it is to listen to God
Learning that both talking and listening are prayer
Learning how we can be available for what God asks us to do
This cycle contains seven "workshops," using the rotation workshop model. Explore the themes preparing and sharing through art, computer drama, movie, story, ktichen and music workshops.
