AMAZON REVIEWS
Cintra Pemberton leads Christians on pilgrimages in Celtic Countries, taking them on a spiritual journey as well as a physical one. In her lovely book she explores what makes a true pilgrimage, both the spirit of participants and the physical elements that guide us to spiritual places, like the fog, wells, stones, and many other natural elements that stir spiritual experiences. Cintra also recounts her visits to many well-known and virutally unknown Christian places in Ireland, England, Scotland... It is delightful! When I went to Ireland I took the book with me and it was a great blessing, inspiring me to tune into the spiritual nature of the places I was able to visit, and helping me to shift from "seeing the sights" to savoring the presence of God. I have bought other copies for other friends who are interested in Celtic spirituality or are planning a visit to one of the Celtic countries. (Reviewer: Marsh Hudson-Knapp, Fair Haven, VT).
