This program is especially appropriate for parents of tweens, teens & young adults addresses two questions: "How does my story resonate with the Gospel story?" and "How can I live the Gospel story? The sessions are structured around storytelling and six basic adulthood skills: listening, assertiveness, identifying gifts, negotiation, partnership and leadership.
Adapted from the Journey to Adulthood (J2A) youth program, the Adult Journey is ideal for introducing J2A to a congregation (and recruiting leaders!) -- and was originally developed in response to requests from parents of J2A youth who wanted "some of that for me too!"
Includes: Leader's Guide and Participant's Book. 25 one-hour sessions or 13 longer sessions or it can be divided into shorter segments on various topics.
