The Book of Common Prayer is by and for the Episcopal Church -- but has a ton of usefulness for individuals or people planning worship in other denominations. It has family/individual devotions for morning, noon, evening and night, prayers for each week of the year and special days as well as a guide to reading through the Scriptures on a daily basis -- something you can do with either or both Morning or Evening Prayer. Compline, a short night time service, is especially beautiful and something that children love (a tradition at church camps). There also are prayers in the special services that you can use privately as well -- prayers for the dying, those who mourn, couples getting married, families baptizing a child, for those who are ill and more.

This is the standard Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments and Other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church together with The Psalter or Psalms of David according to use in the Episcopal Church in the United States as authorized in 1979. The version on the left is hardback; the one on the right is imitation leather.
