THREE PROGRAMS: BASIC TRAINING, REFRESHER, & ADULT EDUCATION
The Eucharist Visitor Training Program teaches the history and theology of the ministry and the use of home communion kits as well as basic pastoral care skills. This program is full of practical aids for home, hospital, and nursing-home visits and includes everything needed to train, commission and certify new Eucharist Visitors.
The Eucharist Visitor Refresher Program is for re-energizing current Eucharist Visitors. An appropriate follow up to diocesan training programs, the program's eight sessions could be conducted monthly or quarterly to build and support a Eucharistic Ministry team.
The Eucharist Visitor Adult Education Program focuses on the history and theology more than on the skills related to this ministry. It is ideal for congregations introducing or expanding this ministry.
Includes: Leader's Guide for each program, Handouts, Certificates, Participant Book and a brochure for use with health care professionals to explain what a Eucharistic Visitor does and what authority they have to conduct the visit.
