The purpose of this resource is to engender frank and open conversation about money, within the context of belief in God and commitment to the way of Jesus Christ. It is a part of LifeCycles, a larger program designed to help empower all Christians to live their baptismal ministry, so its structure begins with building community and then moves into exercises to help participants discern their values about money and how it is used.
Groups work through the following six sessions:
Use this resource to kick off a stewardship campaign, to help a stewardship group to define a vision for stewardship in your congregation, or simply to help those interested in theology of money to develop one.
Six 2-21/2 hour sessions that can be used with adult groups; with some adaptation, may be used with high school age youth.
