EXPLORING BENEDICTINE SPIRITUALITY
For centuries, the Benedictine Rule of Life has helped people live a more balanced life. Living in Community addresses the question: "What does it mean to be part of a Christian community in a secular world?" It focuses on Benedictine spirituality as a way to invite people to reflect on how we live together as a Christian community and engages participants in developing a Rule of Life for themselves.
Twenty-five sessions (1-1½ hrs) on topics such as: rule-crafting, obedience, stability, fidelity, work, study, leisure, prayer and my relationship to God, others, myself and creation. Ideal for Christians seeking a way to integrate their faith into daily life or congregations wanting to build community. Can be used as a year-long program, as single-sessions or clustered into short courses. Appropriate for adults and older youth; especially appealing to young adults. Includes a Leader's Guide and Participant Book.
