ENCOUNTERING THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE
This program helps participants understand the diversity of positions related to the authority of Scripture and to respect the perspectives of others. They also learn methods of exploring and interpreting God's Word, and reflect upon its authority in their own lives. Ideal in a context where people have very different approaches to and understanding of the Bible.
Five sessions, each an hour and a half, that can easily be extended. Includes a Leader's Guide and Handouts. Appropriate for adult and youth groups.
