The Journey to Adulthood (J2A) has been our premier youth ministry program for years, but the Youth Ministry Membership offers you several youth ministry programs that you can mix and match --- and SO MUCH MORE!!
No more worries about buying the "wrong" program -- with the Youth Ministry Membership, you just choose another one! Use J2A if it works well in your church, but now if you hit a year or two with just a few young people or leaders who want something new, you can use lesson plans from any of the other programs. Likewise, if your church likes all ages to follow the lectionary, you can do that - but still keep that acclaimed J2A spiritual formation process and use the rites of passage and other aspects of the J2A program.
with special COVID reduced rates.
Programs that are now available as instant downloads and offered to churches as an annual membership include:
YOUTH MINISTRY PROGRAMSMaking it Real & Relevant --- uses music & movies to follow Revised Common Lectionary
God Talks --- multi-media enhanced studies with a choice of a wide range of topics (same material as
Making it Real but organized by topic)
Godly Journey -- exploring the adventures of the Paul, life in the early church, slavery and evangelism then and today (can be intergenerational)
Let's Talk is a series of projects that provide youth with life skills as well as Christian formation. Each project takes several weeks or even months with experiential learning activities that engage youth and, in some cases, their families or congregation members. Ministry, Mission and Credo (Senior High) invites youth to identify and try out a ministry within the congregation or community, supported by an adult mentor. The group also organizes a mission project for the congregation and they close by writing a personal Credo--a statement of what they believe--that they share with the congregation which sends them forth into world as ambassadors for Christ.
